Pace Farm grants shine a light on community spirit

November 11, 2025

New tennis court lighting and a community hub and wellbeing program are the latest projects to be given a boost by Pace Farm’s Community Grants Program.

The West Wyalong Tennis Club, at West Wyalong in Western NSW, will use its $5,000 grant to upgrade lights on five courts, ensuring the town’s much-loved night competitions can continue safely for players of all ages and abilities.

The Paterson Community Builders, from Paterson, a small country town in the NSW Hunter region, will use its $5,000 grant to establish the Paterson “Pop-in” Community Program to encourage residents to meet and collaborate in a welcoming space. The program will include workshops, youth programs and local projects that build social resilience and community wellbeing within the Paterson community.

Pace Farm Chief Executive Officer Philip Wiese said the two latest recipients demonstrate the diversity of projects the Pace Farm Community Grants program supports.

“These initiatives show how local people come together to create positive change – from lighting up courts for night tennis to sparking connections between neighbours,” Mr Wiese said.

“It’s exactly the kind of community spirit the Community Grants Program was designed to encourage.”

These latest grant recipients join the growing list of projects supported by Pace Farm’s Community Grants Program.

Since launching earlier this year, the Community Grants Program has supported Blind Cricket ACT’s multicultural inclusion program, West Wyalong Local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group’s NAIDOC Day celebrations and a school canteen upgrade at West Wyalong High School.

Mr Wiese said the grants reflect Pace Farm’s values and its vision of eggs for everyone, a mission that extends beyond the company’s products to the way it supports communities.

“Our team members live in these towns, their families play in these clubs and their kids attend these schools,” he said.

“We’re proud to help bring these projects to life and invest in the places that our people call home.”

The Pace Farm Community Grants Program supports projects that deliver measurable community benefits, with priority given to initiatives promoting equity, inclusion and local participation in the communities in which Pace Farm operates.

Applications for the next rounds close on October 31, December 31 and March 31.
