FAQs

How do I cook this scrambled egg mix?

For 2kg bag:

  1. Place the scrambled egg mix bag into simmering water.
  2. When the water returns to a slow boil, continue to simmer for approximately 50 minutes.
  3. During this time, the bag should be carefully removed from the water and massaged to ensure even cooking of the mixture.
  4. Once cooked, remove the bag from the water, slit the bag to remove the cooked scrambled egg mix and place it in a Bain-Marie.

If the frozen scrambled egg mix has thawed, a shorter cooking time is required. If the scrambled egg mix is used for quiches or omelettes, thaw the frozen product under refrigeration and use within 72 hours.

Can it be used for dishes other than scrambled eggs?

Yes. It is suitable for omelettes, frittatas, quiches and other egg-based dishes.
