Eggs Worth a Visit
Eggs Worth a Visit highlights cafes, restaurants and eateries cooking eggs exceptionally well, where care, craft and flavour make the humble egg the reason you stay a little longer.

Aston Lucas Gourmet started as The Catering Company in Melbourne in 1987, catering for corporation functions, weddings and brand activations.
However, when the COVID-19 lockdowns hit Melbourne in 2020, and catering work rapidly dissolved, managing directors Sam Conti and Renzo Mazzocca realised they had to pivot their business if they were to survive. Their solution was the creation of Aston Lucas Gourmet ready-made meals.
Its range includes authentic Italian pastas such as Gnocchi and Cacio E Pepe. The Grab & Go range offers quick, ready-to-eat options with baguettes, sandwiches and wraps. Desserts such as a delicious sticky date pudding and chocolate brownie complete the range. All the products are made with Australian-grown ingredients and traditional family recipes.
Today, Aston Lucas Gourmet meals are stocked in more than 600 supermarkets, cafes and retail outlets across NSW and Victoria.
This month’s Pace Farm’s Eggs Worth a Visit pick is an Aston Lucas Gourmet favourite – the Chicken Caesar Baguette. It’s a fresh multigrain baguette, filled with grilled chicken, crispy prosciutto, crunchy lettuce, and a Pace Farm Boiled Egg, topped with a rich Caesardressing.
The high volume of ready-made meals produced each week requires reliable ingredients. Aston Lucas Gourmet uses Pace Farm Boiled Eggs in its baguettes, sandwiches and Dip ‘N’ Delight boxes for a delicious, consistent product.
For a quick meal that doesn’t compromise on flavour or freshness, keep an eye out for Aston Lucas Gourmet’s baguettes and sandwiches the next time you’re on the go.
