Christmas Cookies

Keep it classic this Christmas with this Aussie icon. Easy and quick to make all you’ll need is a carton of our Pace Farm eggs and some juicy fruits to decorate, you can go berrylicious or zesty or go all-fancy with salted caramel, Oreos or crushed chocolate and dulce de leche.

Ingredients Method
  • 2 Pace Farm eggs
  • 225g butter
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • icing pens to decorate
  1. Line baking trays with baking paper.
  2. Preheat oven to 180ºC.
  3. Mix together the sugar and the butter until the mixture is fluffy.
  4. Sift the flour, bicarb soda and cream of tartar into the mixture and add the Pace Farm eggs.
  5. Mix until a dough has formed.
  6. Flour a surface and knead the dough.
  7. Place the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes after wrapping it in in a plastic wrap.
  8. Place the dough between two sheets of baking paper and roll until 5mm thick.
  9. Using Christmas shape cutters cut out the biscuits.
  10. Bake for approx. 10 mins.
  11. Decorate how you like with sweets and the icing pens.
