Che Desserts

The combination that will make you rethink your coffee order

March 2026

March’s pick is the Vietnamese Egg Coffee from Che Desserts in Melbourne.

The Vietnamese Egg Coffee transforms a familiar espresso into something richer and more indulgent. Whipped egg yolks are blended with vanilla paste and condensed milk, creating a thick, silky foam that sits atop freshly poured hot espresso. The result lands somewhere between a cappuccino and a dessert – aromatic, creamy and perfectly sweet.

Che Desserts specialises in traditional Vietnamese sweets known as Chè, served across three Melbourne locations – Melbourne CBD, Springvale and St Albans. Many of the recipes draw inspiration from the founders’ grandmothers and their Vietnamese heritage, combining traditional techniques with fresh ingredients.

If you find yourself in Melbourne, this is one for the list.
